The Dickinson Community Messenger is a weekly email newsletter. Look for it on Sunday afternoons to get you prepped for the week ahead. Special editions may also be published as needed. Please SUBSCRIBE to stay up to date on the latest news and events from Dickinson and Explorer.

The Dickinson Community Messenger is an email-based news bulletin that we will use to send out news and announcements for both schools and the PTSA. One issue each week during the school year is sent out early Monday mornings. Interim special editions will be sent out as needed. The Messenger is intended to be a central information source where parents can get complete PTSA news.

What
As a school staff member, PTSA volunteer or ASB representative, you will most certainly need to share dates, promote, organize, or provide information about an event, solicit or thank volunteers, or give a news recap after an event. If you'd like your announcement to reach parents, we'd like to put in the Messenger and get the word out to our school community.
Content
Your content may be included directly in an email or as a Word or PDF file attachment. Posts of 1-2 paragraphs are preferred. The editor will proofread, format, and edit all entries for clarity, length, and consistency with the design and tone of the newsletter. Send entries to messenger@dickinsonptsa.org. Please include any dates, costs, graphics (.jpeg or .png files) or links necessary for your announcement.
Title
Please be clear and concise. Titles may be edited for clarity and length.
Contact Info
When necessary, include a contact name and/or email. We cannot post personal email addresses or phone numbers. Use a @lwsd.org or @dickinsonptsa.org email address.
When
Please send in all submissions by 5 pm on the Friday before the Monday issue for your posting. State the date of the issue you want the posting in.
Repeat Postings
If a posting needs to be repeated on another date, indicate that as well.
Approval
Each issue of the Messenger will be approved by the PTSA president.
