Join us for an original performance of The Day Zero Left Dodge by our Dickinson/Explorer actors! Pre-purchase theater tickets HERE. Performances are Jan 30 and 31 at the Redmond High School Performing Arts Center. Thank you for supporting school theater! Enjoy the show!
The Day Zero Left Dodge is a fun and silly mathematical Western. It's set in the small western town of Dodge City where all the citizens are numbers. When Crazy Eight's nasty gang of outlaws steal some of Seven's sheep, Zero volunteers to join One and his posse to get them back. Zero is hurt when One tells her it doesn't really matter if she joins or not since she has no value. A distraught Zero leaves town. Without Zero there to make the double-digit numbers they need, the rest of the town falls into chaos. It looks like Crazy Eight might go free if One cannot convince Zero to come back to Dodge.
Math Challenge #8 is due Thurs, Jan 23. Print and return completed challenge to your teacher or the front office by the due date. Students who complete at least 12 challenges will be recognized at the end of the school year.
With a 2024-25 PTSA membership, you can view the online student directory.
4th graders: Obtain a FREE pass to federal parks, lands, and waters from Every Kid Outdoors! Passes must be printed; electronic passes not accepted. Passes are intended for 4th graders only and valid through August 31, 2025.
Make sure your volunteer status is up to date! First time volunteer? Submit a LWSD Online Volunteer Application for clearance. Returning volunteer? Look for a renewal reminder from Raptor. (Check junk mail for Raptor System.) Approvals are valid for two full years.

Join us at the Bella Bottega MOD Pizza on Wednesday, Jan 22 for dinner and fun starting around 6pm. MOD Pizza will donate 25% of proceeds to the family camp budget. Last year we had a great time and raised over $300, which directly offset the cost of Family Camp for families.
Be sure to mention you're with the Explorer Parent Association fundraiser when ordering. The fundraiser goes all day, so if you're not able to attend at 6pm, you can dine at whatever time is convenient to you. Address: 8900 161st Avenue Northeast Ste 165, Redmond, WA 98052 ics:
